Recently I had an interview for librarian work experience with two interviewers, and as I stood up I went to shake both their hands and it must have looked like I was trying to form a peace circle. Note to self: shake people’s hands one individual at a time.

I once tried to make a quick-witted, ill-thought joke about some vegetables when I was applying for a job in a grocery store. The woman interviewing me genuinely thought I had some sort of mental faculty issues after it.

I interviewed a candidate earlier this week who insisted on wearing aviators throughout the interview. To clarify, the interview was not for a place at the Top Gun academy, although I still have not stopped referring to the individual in question as Ice Man
