Although I trawl through all the main websites ( indeed etc), regionally based jobsites are also good as sometimes good positions with smaller companies pop up. I like south west creative jobs – have them on my twitter feed although to be fair at the moment they mostly seem to advertize swanky art director jobs.

I think this is why speculative applications are so important. Articulate yourself towards the employer directly through your own channel as opposed to via a job site.

I use Milkround, reed etc. and have applied for lots of jobs but still the big question is that, hypothetically, if 200 people apply for the same vacancy from only one job site, what are the chances? We graduates need something else, something which is articulated towards the individuals.

I always laugh whenever I see a job to be a recruitment consultant advertised by recruitment consultants.

I’m not keen on recruitment consultant sites either. I’ve applied to some but they all seem so vaguely advertised and generic: half the time I’m not even sure what jobs they’ll be able to find me.

I use Prospects and Guardian Jobs though I’ve also dabbled in Milkround, Indeed etc.

I like any one that isn’t a recruitment consultant. Any site where I can view the jobs myself without having some idiot try and tell me what I’m best suited to.

I like Milkround as the jobs are all aimed at graduates so there’s no need to sift through them. It also is quite easy to use and lets you search by sector.

Quite like Guardian jobs also.
